Mattias Fredriksson

Mattias Fredriksson is one of the most prolific adventure photographers of our time. For the past 25 years, he has travelled the world with the top outdoor athletes in several sports on assignment for a wide array of editorial and commercial clients. These globe-circling travels have yielded an impressive body of work that combines subtleties of natural light and motion to create a potent mix of quiet alpine moments, intense screaming action, and creative portraiture. Fredriksson’s strong dedication to documenting real stories allows him to combine his photographic and journalistic skills like few others. Add in a farmer’s work ethic and a passionate personality, and you have a winning combination. Although he continues to work globally, he currently lives in Terrace, British Columbia, with his partner Elle and their Siberian husky Tikaani.
