Khan Tengri (7010 m) as seen from Pik Pobeda East (6762 m). Kyrgyzstan, Tian Shan.
Peter Schön: "On a cold morning in August 2010, Anders Ödman and I begin our summit push of the remote Pik Pobeda East (6762 m) via the 35-50+° NE ride. The approach up the Zvezdochka glacier had taken us several days, through a world of snow and ice. In this image, the first rays of the morning sun shine on Pik Shipilova (6201 m) and beautiful Khan Tengri (7010 m). "
