Wild Waters by Lars Schneider.

At the western end of the island of Vágar, near the village of Gásadalur, the ocean cliffs form a little u-shaped bowl. When the swell is high waves smash against the cliffs and are then washed back out towards the open sea where they roll against new, incoming waves. A constant battle of water going in different directions with never a clear winner. Faroe Islands.
