Daniel Månsson: "This was my home for over a year. Living a 5-minute walk right to this spot in Encinitas was a gift. I was here every day, sometimes twice a day for more surfing and taking photos, but this sunset was something extra and it captures the place so well. Swamis comes alive in the morning and evening - and the place explodes in the fall, when the sky is set on fire during sunset.

On a good day you don’t go out at this spot if you’re not local or a really good surfer. You have to earn your spot in the lineup. I had seen this view a thousand times. This beach located in the town I loved and now called my home.

This night after surfing I was sitting on top of the bluffs on a railing and saw the magic light happening. I grabbed my camera and walked down the wooden stairs that lead to the beach, to get a little closer. Halfway down I stopped - the sunset was right there. I snapped a couple of photos and took it all in. The place itself made the photo for me. The warmth, the surfers coming out of the water, the people walking the beach. This is a place I truly love."

- Printed on a 300 gsm thick rough uncoated paper, both FSC™ and PEFC certified.
- The optional black frame is made in Sweden, it's mounted with real glass and comes with an acid-free back cover. The glass has an UV protection that protects the photograph from harmful UV rays.
- With the frame, an off-white 1.8 mm thick acid free passe-partout is included. The brackets on the back of the frame makes it easy for you to mount the image.
- You have the option to order the print framed and sealed. Which means that we will frame the print for you and seal it with an acid free tape on the back. Which protects the print from dust & dirt.
